COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT BOARD

Anchor 1

The community is the solution for a vibrant Pomona.

Community Engagement Board (CEB) is a monthly meeting open for community partners and residents to learn and engage with one another about services, resources, and the overall work of Pomona’s Promise. This is also a place for the community to raise any concerns or ideas about issues in Pomona and receive updates on partner programs and services.

Compassionate Pomona

The City of Pomona has adopted compassion as a key policy for our community and further resolved to do and support the exploration of and development of policies, procedures, tactics, and practical guidance on the integration of compassion and programs to address the holistic wellness of this community, especially as it relates to those most at risk. Meet on the 1st Thursdays at 9:45am and 3rd Thursdays at 10:00am of every month. For more information visit compassionatepomona.org

Pomona Beautification Day (PBD) Committee

This is a day of volunteerism for members of the Pomona community to participate in Beautification Projects throughout the City of Pomona. This event allows for community to take ownership and pride in their contribution to make Pomona a better place. On average, PBD hosts 20-30 community projects from red curb paintings, planting trees, cleaning up major corridors, and more. All are welcomed to a lunch celebration at Civic Center to mix and mingle with residents and community partners.
